Halloween 2009

This year for Halloween we decided to do a themed costume. Really, this is the last year we THOUGHT we could really pull it off and have the girls do what WE wanted them to do. Too bad we were wrong and Katie was pretty set on what she wanted to be so we had to work around that. It turned out well though. It was less expensive, we got to use our creativity, and we had fun. So, here it is:
Yes, Katie was Thomas the Tank Engine and we were her railroad crossing! I was impressed at how well Aubrey did. She kept her sign on the entire time and only when she was tired, we picked her up, and she had the sign right at her mouth did she try to eat it. And, of course, Katie LOVED being Thomas.

We had a laid back Halloween. We went to Michael's and had the girls do a craft, decorated pumpkins, went to the trunk or treat, then went to our neighbors trick or treating so they could see the girls.
